Get a maximum of $2,500 per calendar year! The Presidents Scholarship gives you cash to build your skill set and take your career to the next level. Your powerful association membership let’s you receive a grant of up to $2500 per calendar year for educational classes and seminars (a lifetime maximum of $7,000 will be granted to any one applicant)! Qualified applicants have used their scholarship funds to study at top-notch programs close to home and abroad. The Presidents Scholarship awards $25,000 annually to members.

AAEE & INTA Members May Apply Too! The Presidents Scholarship is open to any Cosmetologists Chicago®(CC), American Association for Esthetics Education®(AAEE) and International Nail Technicians Association® (INTA) regular member, or spouse, child, or grandchild of a member, pursuing cosmetology related education (e.g. cosmetology school or industry related programs.) The member must be in good standing for at least one year prior to application. Funds from the Presidents Scholarship must be utilized ONLY for tuition or actual workshop/seminar/advanced training registration fees and must fall under the scope of cosmetology, nail technology or esthetics defined by the state in which the applicant resides. Funds awarded may not be used for hotel or airfare accommodation.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need and academic record. Funds must be utilized solely for the educational opportunity sought and described on this application. Any changes to the educational opportunity must be brought to the attention of the Scholarship Committee for further review before any funds will be released. It is the responsibility of each Presidents Scholarship recipient to notify the Committee when such changes occur. Recipients must attend at least one association event to present their experience with the Presidents Scholarship.

List position/duties, salary and the dates you were employed. It must also include all the schools you have attended. List location, years attended, date graduated and field of study. PROGRAM INFORMATION If you are interested in attending several programs, please rank them in order of preference with #1 being the most important, #2 being less important, etc. Provide complete descriptions for each program. If you do not include program info, your application may not be considered.
PERSONAL STATEMENT: In 300 words or less, please explain your reasons for applying for this scholarship and why you believe it should be awarded to you. In addition, please describe your career goals for the first five years after completion of this program.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: Three letters of recommendation are required. One letter must come from an industry professional and two additional letters should be provided by persons in positions to assess academic and creative potential. All letters should state relationship to applicant. All letters must be typed.
ASSOCIATION INVOLVEMENT: All scholarship recipients are required to volunteer for association functions as part of the terms of their scholarship. Please indicate your interest.
